• Easy care: handmade rugs should be treated more carefully than machine-made rugs due to the artisanal nature in which they are created, remove any stains immediately by blotting with a clean cloth or sponge, avoid using water as that might damage and discolor the natural fibers, instead, for tougher stains use a dry rug shampoo or baking soda; for dry debris take the rug outdoors and give it a good shake, rotate for even wear
• Compact shipping: your rug will arrive factory rolled/folded and may have creases from tight packaging and compression during storage, these normally flatten within 3-7 days; you can also reduce or remove creasing by rolling the rug, pattern side up, and massaging the creases with your hands; the backing will loosen to help the rug lay flat, for the stubborn creases, flip the rug over and place a damp towel over the crease; use the synthetic setting, and iron the damp towel; this should remove the crease
